The Disabled Ramblers charity works to make the English and Welsh countryside more accessible to people with limited mobility.

This month, we were joined by their Secretary and Rambles Organiser, Paula Brunt, who gave a ‘Virtually Speaking’ talk about the work of the Disabled Ramblers and their top tips for enjoying the countryside – which you can watch below.

Paula talked about their organised rambles, told us where you can hire Tramper off-road mobility scooters and gave useful advice on safe ways to explore the great outdoors.

She also gave us a list of helpful websites:

Disabled Ramblers Facebook page

Walks with Wheelchairs

National Trails

Trampers – a list of sites across the country that have Trampers available to loan out to visitors

Countryside Mobility who hire out Trampers, mainly at sites in the South West of England
