Summary
Tom will be joining the LA’s annual O2 Climb this year – championing lives beyond limb loss and raising money for the Limbless Association. You can support Tom’s fundraising efforts on the link below.
I’m delighted to have signed up for the Limbless Association’s annual 02 climb, sponsored by Hodge Jones & Allen.
I’m excited to take on this challenge, and yet I’m definitely a little nervous.
I don’t doubt it will be physically challenging, but I hope that the effort, the view and the funds raised for the Limbless Association will make it all worth it.
I have been a bilateral amputee since I was a 16-year-old who contracted meningitis. I have been fortunate enough to be supported throughout by the wider amputee community and the Limbless Association. I have had a variety of prosthetics over the years.
I have traditionally avoided physical challenges but feel this one hits the right balance for me. I know if will be supported and am confident of making the climb.
The Limbless Association is vital to help amputees build and live their most fulfilled and rewarding lives. I am delighted to be able to raise funds for a brilliant cause.
I would love further support for this challenge and, more importantly, for a cracking charity. You can support me here.
