On Friday 25 March we hosted our first HolLAwood Extravaganza which was a resounding success!
It was an evening of virtual glitz, glamour, fun, celebration and fundraising on Zoom with a fantastic audience of our members, Trustees, staff and friends of the LA – all dressed up to the nines or as their favourite movie stars.
We celebrated our wonderful Volunteer Visitors and enjoyed virtual charades and the ‘Star is Bourne’ movie quiz before crowning the winners of the ‘No Place Like Home’ Best Dressed Awards.
A highlight of the evening was the LA’s 5STAR Fundraising Awards. Trustees Ella Dove, Mukhtar Adam and David Rose handed out awards, and you can find the winners below.
The audience was fantastic – everyone joined in with the games and supported each award winner with rapturous applause. We were also overwhelmed by the incredible generosity of people texting to donate on the night. You can still donate, by clicking the button below too.
