Our Chair of Trustees, David Rose, was interviewed on the Tony Fisher show on BBC Radio Essex on Tuesday 6th July.
David talked about his early experiences as an amputee after losing his right leg in a motorbike accident and his problems with phantom limb pain since his amputation.
He explained how the Limbless Association has provided much-needed information and support for people living with limb loss across the UK, pre- and post- amputation, since 1983.
He also described how being part of the LA has helped him to meet other amputees and the importance of our Volunteer Visitor peer support programme.
