Virtually Speaking about…Coping Strategies

Join psychologist Dr. Tajinder Rai for our special Virtually Speaking focusing on the psychological wellbeing for limb loss patients. Dr. Rai will discuss the importance of pre-amputation assessment, the adjustment reaction that patients may experience post-surgery, and coping with Phantom Limb Pain. She will also address the trauma associated with limb loss, and provide insight on maintaining general mental well-being and building resilience in the face of adversity. Speaker: Dr. Tajinder Rai is a chartered counselling psychologist working with limb loss patients, she is passionate about helping patients through their difficult experiences and equally discover how truly resilient they are.
