LA Community Hubs
Hub Update
While our LA Community Hubs are now running in-person again, we are still hosting virtual hubs too. Click here for the latest event information.
What are LA Community Hubs?
Our monthly LA Community Hubs are a fantastic way to connect with fellow amputees, access information, share experiences of limb loss, and make new friends.
We welcome all amputees, their friends, family members, and carers to our support Hubs.
Our aim is to create an informal, welcoming and encouraging safe space for people living with limb loss to get the support they need. Sessions are hosted by LA Hub Coordinators and peer support is also on hand with our Volunteer Visitors.
What happens at a Hub event?
Some of our LA Community Hubs will run with a particular topic in mind and there’s always time for supportive coffee and chat.
We invite amputees to join a planned activity session, which includes our highly popular sitting yoga sessions – providing gentle accessible exercises for all.
Learn breathing and mindfulness techniques that aim to support your recovery and rehabilitation contributing to better health and wellbeing.
I'm interested in joining - what's next?
If you want to find out more, contact one of our friendly Hub team members who are all amputees.
