Our Virtually Speaking themed talks on Zoom have proved popular with our members: evaluation shows that 100% of respondents would recommend them to other amputees and their families.
Last month, we were joined by Delia Ray, Harry Morgan-James and Robert Parker from Motability Operations who gave an informative talk about the Motability Scheme.
They explained how amputees in receipt of a qualifying mobility allowance may be able to use it to lease a car, wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV), scooter or powered wheelchair through the Motability Scheme.
They also spoke about how the Scheme works and the range of adapted vehicles that are available to help amputees to enjoy worry-free motoring.
