The LA is there for every amputee. It ensures no-one needs to cope alone. That's why I'm always keen to get involved in any way I can, to raise valuable funds and to challenge myself in ways I never imagined I could. In 2017, I took on a 400m wild swim in Dorney Lake for the Superhero Triathlon, and I climbed the O2 arena - both as part of team LA. I want to say a big thank you for allowing me to get involved, and for continued support as I 'step forward' and embrace amputee life. Bring on the next challenge!

The Limbless Association make no charge for its services, so that no amputee is ever left without the information and support they need. We rely on the generosity of the public and our amazing fundraisers like Ella , their support has assisted the LA with 35 years of ensuring that no amputee need cope alone
