Wellbeing for Winter
At times winter can be a challenging season with the weather changing, colder temperatures and shorter days. The Winter Wellbeing For All 6-week course will show you wellbeing practices to help you prepare and move into the season with joy and ease.
All you need to take part is a phone, laptop or computer with access to Zoom, a chair with a small amount of space around it, a pen and some paper. No previous experience is necessary.
Each week you will work on a new topic chosen to help you connect your mind and body, boost your immune system and build a healthy and resilient mindset, helping you to experience the positives that the winter provides.
We will work together through gentle chair-based yoga and Pilates movements to encourage physical strength and release tension – with plenty of options for you to take part at your own level and pace.
Your course leader, Emily, will facilitate easy mindfulness meditations for you to help let go of stress and connect to yourself in another way. You will also have plenty of opportunities to experience deep relaxation where your body can rest and you can soothe your central nervous system – which is amazing for the immune system!
This course provides a safe space for you to feel supported and develop wellbeing practices that work for you – as well as a welcoming space to meet other like-minded people.
