Virtually Speaking…about the Prosthetic Services Review with Carolyn Young

We are delighted to be joined by Carolyn Young, National Programme of Care Manager – Trauma, Lead Commissioner Major Trauma & Burns & Rehabilitation & Disability CRGs NHSE (includes prosthetics).

She will be joining the LA’s Support and Connect team in September where she’ll update on the progress and next steps around the NHSE Prosthetics Services Review. Carolyn will also offer insight into the new CRG structure and devolved commissioning processes with the regional Integrated Care Boards and how these changes might impact prosthetic services.

While the pandemic has delayed the Review process, stakeholder consultation around the newly developed service specification is now imminent. Hear the latest in terms of updates and there’ll be plenty of opportunity for Q and A. This session is a great opportunity for you to engage directly with the decision-makers. Carolyn has many years of experience as an NHSE Commissioner and is passionate about driving improvements for patients.
