Individual Fundraising

Fundraising for the LA helps us to ensure that no amputee need cope alone.

There are so many opportunities to fundraise, you can get creative and tap into what you enjoy. The best kinds of fundraising activities are those where the supporter feels they are getting something from taking part as well as contributing to a worthy cause.

If you know what activity or event that you want to do please fill in our fundraising form and Joel will get in touch to thank you and see whether you need any help from the LA.

If you want to do some fundraising but don't know what you want to do, give This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and email and ask for some ideas - he will be happy to help.

Some popular ideas for fundraising activities:

BBQ/Party - Host a BBQ/Party supply food and drink and ask for a contribution or sell tickets. Can also put on fundraising games or a raffle.

Bonus Ball - Sell off numbers 1-59 for £1 each, the number that is drawn as the bonus ball in the national lottery draw gets a percentage of the takings, the rest to the Limbless Association. Just be aware there are two draws a week so need to specify which draw! If you do not sell all the numbers do not worry as if an unsold number is drawn you rollover to the next week.

Last Man Standing (Football) - Supporters pay to enter this competition split between cash prize and charitable contirbution. Everyone picks a team to win if that team fails to win the relevant person is out of the competition, if they do win the relevant person picks again. This process keeps going until there is just one 'man standing'. Players can have lives and can include a restriction to only pick an individual team once.

Shopping Packing - Ask your local supermarket if you can pack bags for customers in return for a donation.
